Victorian Elegance in Llandudno

Llandudno is rightly known as the Queen of Welsh Resorts. Two periods of history dominate the Llandudno story. Come and hear about the Copper Mining industry dating back more than four thousand years, then the more recent tales of how Llandudno was designed as a purpose built seaside resort.

  • What is the town’s connection with Lewis Carroll and his Alice through the Looking Glass books?
  • How are the Hotels along our beautiful one-mile long wide promenade kept to look as if they are still in the Victorian era?
  • Is the town winning the battle of mixing its history with the demands of a modern town?
